Well this is me, I'm unique, there's none like me and nobody can tell stories like me. You can all tell stories like you though. So when you've read mine why don't you go and write some of your own. After all, there is Only One Life for all of us ... and this is mine. See My One Life Story below to see why I came here to write.
My One Life Story
Only One Life is my personal journey through some hard times and fun times since the passing of Bev my first wife of 44 years and Yvette my second wife of just 3 short years. Bev died of Pancreatic cancer as I held her hand in a hospice, in October 2015 the day before my birthday. Yvette also died in a Hospice in June 2024 of Metastatic Breast Cancer.
The days and years following both losses were and still are perhaps the toughest I have ever known. Walking across Tesco car park alone, where once we would be hand in hand, was one of the many many grief moments that stole my breath away. Where in an instant I was left with such an aching in my chest, I thought I would never recover.

I have travelled alone often since, choosing times of cherished birthdays, Christmas or special anniversary days. These are some of my musings and ramblings along with pictures of some of my travels, reflecting on life, people, places and feelings.
I hope you feel inspired, moved, cheered and motivated to immortalise your own One Life for others to journey with and enjoy.
