Written during a 'moment' of grief after the passing of Bev.

When darkness closes all around,   and lonely emptiness is found,

It seems your prayers have not been heard,   and trust in God just seems absurd.

I choose to believe,    I choose to believe,

And when my time is come, time has come to leave,

I choose to believe, I choose to believe, I choose to believe.

When those you love cannot be found,  and ‘moments’ bring you to the ground.

You know you cannot change the fact,   and hope will never bring them back.

I choose to believe,    I choose to believe,

And when my time is come, time has come to leave,

I choose to believe, I choose to believe, I choose to believe.

Never want to feel this pain again,  never want to lose what I had gained,

Please don’t leave me in this place.

I need your touch I need your Grace,   but if I never see your face,

Or feel your warm embrace,

I choose to believe,    I choose to believe,

And when my time is come, time has come to leave,

I choose to believe, I choose to believe, I choose to believe.
