My Venice Adventure

My 70th, Venice Birthday Adventure - 9th to 16th October 2018

So, the adventure began. Cards all went with me for opening Saturday 13th.

Thanks everyone for your birthday cards and good wishes.

Tucked away in a quiet street on the Island of Lido, I found this great place to make a base for my visit to Venice. Hotel Villa Cipro with the Alilaguna and ACTV transport just up the main street for a quick hop across the bay, and the beach just a short way down the road.

Walked barefoot on the beach with feet in the warm Med sea. Plenty of nice restaurants around.

Breakfast was good and always well stocked. Staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
