I Dreamed I Kissed You

I lost Yvette my second wife to Breast cancer in June 2024. I wrote this song when we first met again in 2020. I had a dream of kissing her before we started dating. I miss her every day, as I do Bev and hold on to my faith, which tells me one day we will all be together once more.

Spent all my time sitting alone,

Didn’t know you were there, feeling the same,

‘til you came and asked if you could join me,

It was so nice, to be there,

We talked and talked forever,

Hey, would you like to go out tonight.

You didn’t know I dreamed I kissed you,

You didn’t know I wondered why,

But when we kissed, I knew the reason.

We kissed again a few times,

Hey, would you be mine tonight.

You didn’t hesitate to say that it’s ok

And when we stood next to each other,

I could feel a strong and deep connection,

I wondered if you felt the same.

You didn’t know I wondered why,

But when we kissed, I knew the reason.
