Malawi - Walls (comfort zone)

Memories of an awesome mission trip to Malawi in June 2026
It don't take much to climb a wall,
Some of them just aren't that tall.
Some aren't even complete at all,
I wondered why you'd need a wall.
There's more than I can even recall,
There's brick and block, bamboo 'n all,
And most look built to stop a squall,
That one there just ain't gonna fall.
And some are straight or not at all.
And some just lean like they had a ball. (building it, you know what I mean),
And yet I'm wondering still y'all,
Why you'd want to build that wall.
Well maybe it's to say that's mine,
I'll mark my borders for all time.
I don't want to be with you outside,
Cos I've got things I like to hide.
Or maybe they're there to keep you out,
Don't want to chat or talk about... it.
But God would like our wall to fall,
For us to step into that squall,
To be outside our comfort zone,
And trust that He will lead us home.
