Malawi - What a joy

Memories of an awesome mission trip to Malawi in June 2026

What a joy to hear some praise,

As one long flight is now complete.

Nairobi lay over this had been.

Time to stretch, chat and sleep.

3 security checks, phew, we made it through.

Oh what a tedious thing we do.

Just a short hop now, Malawi bound,

Listening to music, what a sound.

Goodness of God, I believe, Christ and Christ crucified, God so loved the world that he gave us....

Lord we offer our all, for you this trip,

Love and service, a new friendship.

Bless all we come to serve and do,

Change our hearts to be like you.

Your name is power, your name is healing, Your name is life,

Break every stronghold,

Shine through the shadows,

Burn like a fire.
