No Mobiles

Venice with my Facebook friends 11th Oct 2018

Sat in a crowded restaurant, patiently waiting.

Been waiting for ages, it seems.

Groups of people chattering, laughing, drinking vino.

I'll have a birra please ... seems a bit out of place.

Amazingly nobody on their mobiles, oh, we'll soon change that.

Everyone else has someone to chat with, laugh with,

I have you all.

You're not here with me, but you are.

Thanks for your company, means a lot,

Likes and loves and friendly comments,

I don't need the crowd.
