Light in the Darkness - Arise Shine

A word for the church today based on the prophecy in Isaiah 60 and 61

For those of you I've rescued,

I have given a new land,

Don't fear the ones around you,

They are given into my hand.

You, are a valiant warrior,

You question and I prove,

So, trust me now, don't sit still,

Go out and watch me move.

I've chosen you, be who you are,

Go in the strength you know,

I'm using you, your heart is new,

And surely set to grow.

For, I came, I lived, I gave you light,

The mystery forever hid,

My spirit, poured inside your heart,

It's proof enough of what I did.

So rise, shine, for your light has come,

And the glory of the lord, is upon you.

Arise, shine, for your light has come,

And the glory of the lord is upon you.

And watch the darkness flood the earth,

And cover all mankind,

Then watch your light, shine brighter still,

Then surely, you will find,

Nations, nations, will come to your light,

And Kings, to the brightness of your shining.

So prepare to accept all the least of these,

For my Church, my Bride is arising.

Lord you are, Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the Darkness, My God that is who you are, My God, that, is who you are.
